Fundraise for CCPA

We rely on the kindness and generosity of others to help us support families in crisis. If you have a fundraising idea please get in touch. There are so many ways to raise funds from the simple to the bizarre or challenging! We can even help you by discussing your ideas or give you support to achieve your goals.

We can provide t shirts, literature, collecting tins, presentations etc. and we are registered with Justgiving which is an easy way to appeal to your friends to support your efforts AND we can receive an extra 25% on top of those donations if they’re gift-aided!

Here are some simple ideas to raise funds for us:

• Have a dress down day or bake sale at your workplace, community space or school.
• Complete a sponsored challenge – it can be running, walking, dieting, dancing, staying silent or even knitting! The more bizarre or challenging the more it will encourage people to support you!
• Organise an afternoon tea party, crafting session or neon disco – any event that will bring people together to have fun is always popular.
• Create a Birthday fundraiser on Facebook – these are so simple, all you have to do is set that up and then search for Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance when choosing your charity and watch the £’s roll in (we can help if you don’t know how to do this).
• Collect small change in a jar – it’ll save weighing down your pockets and purses!
• Ask for donations to us rather than presents for a special anniversary, wedding or birthday party.
• Organise a clothes swap with your friends or community – that way you will be recycling, gaining a ‘new’ wardrobe of clothes and raising funds!
